In a space that is new and unfamiliar many PSC patients wonder if “enough” is being done. Should I be having more tests, or treatments. That feeling that you need to advocate for more… but more what? We have asked Prof Stuart Roberts to take a look at the guidelines from other countries and help us understand them in the context of our Australian medical system.

Professor Roberts is Head of Hepatology at Alfred Health, Clinical Professor of Gastroenterology, Monash University and Chair of the Australian Liver Association Clinical Research Network. His research areas include PSC, autoimmune liver disease, chronic viral hepatitis, hepatocellular carcinoma, and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.
