Vancomycin, Faecal transplants… how do they work? How does changing the gut microbiome help treat PSC? Associate Professor Trivedi is doing a lot of research on this in the UK, and we are grateful that he is getting up early to talk to us about his findings, the understanding that this is bringing, and the way it can impact clinical treatment. Dr Trivedi is both a clinical scientist and consultant hepatologist who has devoted his clinical and research career to studying PSC and PBC. He is the current Chief Investigator for UK-PSC and Chair of the BASL Immune-Mediated Liver Disease special interest group.
